Patiently Learn What Life Has to Teach Me
Sometimes I wish life would be like an elevator lifting me to new heights easily and effortlessly. My only job would be to enjoy the ride to the top. But life is more like a stairway—and my role is to take it one step at a time, learning and growing as I go.

When an obstacle emerges, big or small, I pause and pay attention. What can I learn from this?

Problems create opportunities when I am willing to explore them. Every setback or stumbling block is my teacher. I trust the process of life that expands my consciousness to new ways of understanding. I am grateful, patient, and open to learning.

My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.—James 1:2-3
